Sara Phillips - Cricket
Sara, aged 14 from Llanelli, is a passionate - and skilful - cricketer, representing Wales at U-15 and U-17. She is also in the Senior Development Squad. Throughout the winter she has been training with the Western Storm T20 team based at the South West Regional Training Centre in Taunton. The team is jointly supported by Somerset & Gloucester Cricket Clubs and Exeter University. On her debut Sara took 5 wickets for 38 runs off her eight overs! With female cricket riding the crest of a wave, Sara's parents, Carwyn and Elaine, thanked SportsAid Cymru Wales for helping Sara with her career.
